Pennsylvania bluestone

Pennsylvania bluestone is a dense, regional sedimentary stone prized for patios and steps.

Pennsylvania bluestone is a dense, fine-grained sedimentary rock quarried in northeastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York. It is the premium natural-stone choice for Chester County patios and steps because of its regional availability, durability, slip resistance, and proven performance in local freeze-thaw conditions. It is sold in both natural-cleft and thermal (sawn) finishes.
