Fieldstone

Fieldstone is natural, uncut stone gathered from the surface, used for walls and veneer.

Fieldstone is natural stone collected from the ground rather than quarried and cut to dimension, giving it irregular shapes and weathered faces. It is used for retaining walls, seat walls, outdoor fireplaces, and stone veneer where a rustic, regional look is desired. In Chester County, fieldstone reads as traditional Pennsylvania farmhouse masonry.
